Job Title: Marketing Assistant (Part-Time)

Location: Remote (Work from Home)

Hours: Starting at 10 hours per week, with the potential for full-time transition based on performance and business growth.

Compensation: $15 – $25 per hour, commensurate with experience. No benefits are provided, as this is a part-time contractor position.

Overview:
We are seeking a talented and driven Marketing Assistant to join our team and help manage various marketing initiatives for our online business. This role is perfect for a stay-at-home parent with marketing or blogging experience, a college student pursuing a marketing degree, or anyone with a passion for digital marketing and content creation. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, creative, and proficient in social media management, content creation, and basic graphic design. While prior experience in all areas is not required, we’re looking for someone with a scrappy mindset—a history of figuring things out and making things happen. Training will be provided to support your growth and success in this role. This position offers flexible hours and the opportunity to work remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in content creation for marketing emails, social media, blogs, and podcasts.
  • Manage customer service tasks such as community engagement, testimonial gathering, and live chat support.
  • Support podcast production by assisting with episode descriptions, social media promotions, and scheduling.
  • Contribute to blog management, including post updates, proofreading, and social media promotion.
  • Collaborate with team members on various marketing projects and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in digital marketing, social media management, and/or content creation.
  • A history of being scrappy—able to navigate challenges, problem-solve, and take initiative.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and tasks.
  • Availability for occasional in-person or Zoom meetings.

If you’re passionate about marketing and have a track record of making things happen, we’d love to hear from you!
